Break out the Bohemian within and spend the summer in a full length prairie dress, because this season it’s all about the tiered hems, ditsy florals, paisley prints, and long, puffed sleeves. It’s the low maintenance option with coverage from top to toe that keeps those sun rays at bay and will be your go-to between leg waxes!

Five ways to wear:

  1. Toughen up your tiered dress with a leather biker jacket and add some edge with a studded bag or sandals.

  2. Tame a voluminous dress and give yourself some shape under swathes of fabric by adding a wide waist belt.

  3. Give your wedding guest wardrobe an update this season with a flowing boho maxi in silk or chiffon with an ethereal feel as seen at Peter Pilotto.

  4. Try a linen or cotton maxi dress in white with broderie anglaise or lace details and pair with tan leather sandals and a basket bag.

  5. Definitely not just for summer: when the temperature drops later in the year, take your boho frock and layer over a roll neck and tights for maximum wear.

HIGH STREET HIT: Mango’s paisley print dress is ideal if you’re a little more top heavy; the v neckline flatters and empire line under the bust gives shape while skimming over a tummy.
