"My personal shopping session in London with Isobel was an absolute delight, and surpassed all my expectations. Isobel had picked out an amazing array of beautiful clothes which pushed my style boundaries (as I requested) but looked so great that I felt really comfortable in them. I bought nearly everything she selected in the first shop, as the items she'd picked and outfits she'd put together were just irresistible. I even went back the next day and bought some of the items I'd 'resisted', as I really felt they looked great and were worth paying for. Isobel has such a talent - despite having never met me she was able to select clothes which really suited my shape and colouring, and put together great combinations of outfits comprised of individual pieces which I can mix and match. I feel really happy with all the items I've bought. I now have a 'special' section if my wardrobe where I've hung them and which makes me smile whenever I look at it. All in all a great session which has given me a much needed confidence boost after some recent personal issues, and an experience that I will definitely be repeating again sometime. "I just wanted to say a belated thank you for arranging my Style Shopper. I had a fantastic day in London. My stylist was extremely helpful and reassuring. I confessed to her that I found shopping for clothes intimidating and stressful but she was very patient. With the very first purchase of the day - a new, properly fitted bra - I found myself standing up straighter and as the day went by, I found myself trying on amazing outfits that I would never have dreamed of wearing.
I wore my new outfits for my wedding rehearsal, dinner and the breakfast following the big day and I felt glamorous and confident - I've never felt so good in new clothes. Since then, I've worn my Style Shopper clothes on honeymoon, to work and out afterwards - they're very versatile. I've had people comment on how different I look after getting married, and I wonder if it's all down to my new clothes.
I recently went shopping on my own and started by picking up a fabulous cardigan that my stylist recommended from Reiss. I already knew what I wanted when I went into the store, but I felt that I was able to browse and not feel intimidated and then buy something and not feel guilty afterwards or wonder if it was something that looked good or not. My stylist definitely gave me the tools to be able to shop and enjoy myself.
