A lot of people feel the colour red doesn't suit them. We think red is for everyone who has the confidence to adorn it but the secret lies in the shade not the colour.

Pure red is the simplest colour; it can only be mixed with varying quantities of blue or yellow to create the different shades we see in our everyday lives. In simple terms therefore, if you have an olive skin with yellow undertones, you will be more suited to the brighter, more orange/yellow shades of red. If however, you tend to be more on the pale side you will be more suited to reds with a blue undertone, which tend towards purple / pink in appearance. This way the red you wear will compliment your skin tone. Nail polish is a fantastic way of subtly trying out different shades of red. Look for the one that enhances the colour of your skin.
