About NHJ Style Consultancy
Before setting up personal styling company, NHJ Style Consultancy, Nicky Hambleton-Jones spent years running her own nutrition practice as a qualified dietician in her native South Africa. But she soon realised that the main issue facing many of her clients was low self-esteem.
Nicky wanted to offer a service that would help clients believe in themselves to help them achieve their goals and to build a more positive self-image. While counselling can work, Nicky found helping clients directly to improve their appearance made the biggest difference to the way they saw themselves.
Nicky realised there was a gap in the market for a service that would help people look fantastic effortlessly and boost their self-esteem at the same time. Everyone has a hairdresser and maybe a beautician, but a personal stylist has always been for the rich and famous.
Her idea was to make personal styling available for everyone. Her belief is that when you look good, you feel amazing. You don't need to lose weight before you start to make an effort with your appearance. Because if you look good now, you'll find you have the self-esteem and motivation to achieve your goals.
Nicky decided to set up a service to help women transform themselves and become who they want to be, starting with making them feel fantastic right now! If you could dress yourself to look a stone lighter every day and feel slim-tastic, would you still obsess about losing weight?
In May 2001, Nicky decided to set up her own personal styling consultancy. She pooled all her savings and founded Tramp2Vamp! a personal styling consultancy for everyday people who care about how they look and feel today.
Since establishing her business, Nicky has become a household name, having presented hit TV show 10 Years Younger for 5 years. She is also author of 10 Years Younger, 10 Years Younger Nutrition Bible - Eat Yourself Younger, and Top To Toe.
As Nicky's personal brand has grown, so has the business. The consultancy still helps many individuals who need a boost in their life, people across a wide range of lifestyles and corporate clients by helping them feel amazing. Whatever your styling or fashion needs our team of stylists can help.
In March 2008, Nicky established the NHJ Style Academy. The NHJ Style Academy is a personal styling training academy for the future's top personal stylists. The courses are unique because they include hands-on experience with a personal stylist and their clients.
In June 2008, Nicky rebranded the business as NHJ Style Consultancy. The company is leading the way in the personal styling industry, with more than 5000 clients on their books, from across the UK and Europe.
The consultancy is setting new standards of style amongst men and women.
